Mercedes DeLuca-Jones is in a rut. Her BFF Richie has just passed away leaving a void in her heart and voices in her head. Her husband is straying; her children have both left home and travelled to Nepal to ‘give something back’; and her body is starting to do things that frankly she finds hideous.
So when ‘The Real Housewives of’ franchise open auditions for a Gold Coast reality show, Mercedes realises it’s her destiny!

Mercedes DeLuca-Jones was born to perform, she describes her voice as chocolate (luxurious, rich and creamy, organic chocolate-not that cheap, waxy, grainy rubbish you give to your children at Easter). She only chirps at the sexiest soirees around the globe and preferably with a bottle or two of vintage Bolli under her fabulous, hand crafted, designer belt.

Recently Mercedes was given The Gift and communicates with the other side through song. She discovered her new found Gift soon after her BFF and top fashion designer Richie passed away following an unfortunate accident involving a jumping castle in Thailand. Just days after his death Mercedes’ mind was flooded with Richie’s dulcet tones - guiding her on her life’s path to greatness as the Really Real Housewife of Surfers Paradise.
While Mercedes has been fortunate enough to share harmonies in her head with such idols as Jackie O (stylish yet tone deaf), Rita Hayworth and Dame Edna Everage; possessing The Gift hasn’t always been peonies and caviar. Some devastating truths have been unsurfaced by dead friends and family. The most shocking from Thumper, Mercedes’ childhood pet rabbit who revealed he was brutally murdered by Mercedes’ Father, Luigi DeLuca and made into the tasty Italian stew, Coniglio alla cacciatore for Christmas lunch 1979!

Mercedes has been instrumental in the redecoration and titivation of her vast Real estate portfolio and those of her fabulous friends. She despises bad taste and implores the general public-if you haven’t a clue and you won't engage the talents of a design professional – paint it white (Porter's Rice Paper white preferably and please no feature walls) .
